Old (2014) and New (2015) Starbucks Planner |
This is my mantra today as I embrace new things this coming
2015. It’s been a very eventful and hectic 2014, with so many changes that sort
of turned my life around. I’m not exaggerating haha :D
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you,
my viewers and readers, for making my blog grow this 2014. You are one of the
reasons why my 2014 was very eventful. I promise to improve next year and make
this blog as informative and helpful to all of you.
I hope all of you will have a nice and wonderful New Year’s
celebration!
Thank you!
A greetings from Hainrihi’s Discoveries:

Food was never my strongest suit in all aspects.
As I grew up, I never loved to eat. I am a moody eater because I rather sleep,
write, or work than eat. I’m a picky eater and I was never into “food trips” or “food
adventures”. Thus, I was never good at food reviews and if you look at my blog, you see just two to three food
reviews (maybe even less). I don’t hate food. I was just never fond of it.
But that slowly changed through the years---especially
when your boyfriend loves to eat and go to food trips. I was exposed to various
food and we had a few food adventures. Despite still being moody on food (I
still eat 1-2 times a day sometimes), I am slowly loving it and willing to try
out new food establishments together with my boyfriend.
I am also willing to try various food
establishments by myself, especially when invited. Just like last October 16,
when Zomato invited me to the grand
opening of The Urban Cafe last October 17 at 3pm in Wilcon City Center,
Visayas Ave. Since the place is near where I live and I am open to trying out
new food, I attended it.

As a late bloomer, one of my discoveries is
makeup. I still have a lot of improving to do in this area, but I am happy to
know that I have learned a lot in the past years that I can apply on both
normal days and in cosplay. One of my makeup discoveries is mineral makeup
through Ellana Mineral Cosmetics.
When I was just starting with makeup, I was
still using the inexpensive onesBut I found out that these brands were not good
for my skin. So I searched for the right brands and that’s when I found out
about Ellana. I can’t remember where, but I discovered Ellana from a local
makeup blog. That was around 2010 and the brand was relatively new. At that
time, Ellana was the only company I knew that offered mineral makeup and, out
of curiosity, I went to their old headquarters in West Avenue, Quezon
City.
This year, I had so many life changes that I became busy
with work and some extra curricular activities. Because of this, I had so many
blog hiatuses so I could get my life back on track. But every time I go back
from those hiatuses and posted a few blog posts before going to a hiatus again,
I felt happiness and becoming fulfilled. It was through this feeling that I
told myself I don’t want to go on hiatus again because I want to blog as much
as I can. I want to share information of the things I discovered in my little
adventures. Every time I finish writing and posting a blog post, I feel I have
accomplished something and have made my blog more worthwhile than before.
Sorry for the late post; I've been so busy that I was only able to finish this today.
Anyway, Cosplay
Mania has always been my most anticipated cosplay events every year because something new is always given to its audience. Ever since I first attended it last
2011, there is a main highlight every time we attend.
For this year’s Cosplay Mania, one of my main highlights is attending Reika’s Meet-and-Greet. Reika is a Japanese cosplayer known for portraying/cosplaying male characters. Yup, you guessed it---she’s a crossplayer. Reika is one of my cosplay inspirations/idols, so I think you shouldn’t be surprised why I want to see and meet her in person.
