August is one of the months this year that I am
grateful for because of various blessings and experiences. Some of those that
made me happy are the warehouse book sales from two of the known bookstores in
the country. I already blogged my Books for Less Warehouse Sale experience
recently. This time, it’s The Great National Book
Store Warehouse Sale.
The Great National Book
Store Warehouse Sale was held last August 13 and 18, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m., and was later extended to August 23, 2015. All items, from books to
supplies to gift items, were on sale up to 90% off! Everything that I love was here,
so I was very excited to buy books and some arts and crafts stuff.
I love books so much that I make it a point to buy at least one book per
payday. But since I am not yet a fast reader, I have many pending books that
will last me for months. Still, this does not stop me from buying some every now
and then. For me, it does not matter whether I buy new or secondhand books---as
long as I always have something to read. And because I am expanding my reading
knowledge, I am more excited to buy books now than before.
When my boyfriend told me that Books for Less will have a warehouse sale
from August 1 to 31, I decided to go there last August 2, Sunday. This is
actually my first time to go to a warehouse book sale, so I was really excited
to see what kind of books I can find. :D
This is a super late update when I promised two months ago that I plan to update this blog more often. I am so sorry for having neglected my blogging duties, but I am (hopefully and will try my best) back and will keep this updated since I have a lot of stuff to blog about (reviews, personal stuff and the like). I am so disappointed with my 3-month hiatus because there were a lot of good movies, places to review. Unfortunately, I was piled up with work and other non-work related stuff. But I promised myself in my recently finished birthday that I have to “fix my life” and put things in order. So here I am, updating you.
First of, this blog is doing an upgrade. If you have noticed, the URL has been changed to “http://hainrihisdiscoveries.blogspot.com/”! *happiness* I have wanted to change the “ecyang” blogger name and now it’s done. J I also changed the email to hainrihisdiscoveries@gmail.com, so you can email me there for concerns or anything you have in mind.
Then there is the FB profile badge below my Blogger profile, which I created specifically for this blog. I also made that so only close friends and few relatives can read my blog as I don’t want other family members and relatives reading some of my stuff here. While the blog is public and there are other people who will read it, at least I can still keep it away---with the separate FB profile---from some nosy relatives who just blab what they feel without thinking. Oh I think you know what I mean, because I am at loss for words in explaining hahaha XD
