Hey Geekies! It has been awhile since I posted something about pop culture because, well, we had the pandemic for the past three years. 

But events are coming back now. Geeks have been waiting for a pop culture convention where people with various hobbies could gather together in one place. 

And we have that in the form of CONQuest Festival 2023!

As a convention of conventions, their aim is to create a space where people with overlapping interests can come together to celebrate and explore. CONQuest 2022 was already big. But this year, it’s going to get bigger and better---starting off with their jam-packed lineup. 

Wave 1

Last May 7, 2023, CONQuest announced their first wave of guests, which consisted of musical guests, creative artists, and streamers. People got excited as everyone would have a chance to meet Valkyrae, Fuslie, Atsu, and so much more.

Wave 2 

One of the things people look forward to this year is the Genshin Impact English voice actors. Last year, they invited Christian Banas (VA of Thoma), Anne Yatco (Voice of Raiden Shogun/Ei), and Ratana (VA of Yae Miko), who all have Filipino blood. Having those three Genshin Impact English VAs was a big hit, especially for the fans. Thus, there is a big expectation on who CONQuest will bring this year.

And they did not disappoint! 

Wave 2 lineup is jam-packed with more game streamers and content creators, as well as FIVE English voice actors. 

We got Sykkuno, Newt, LilyPichu, Micheal Reeves, AriaSaki, iGumDrop, and Seapeekay in the game streamers and content creators side. 

As for voice acting, we have four Genshin Impact voice actors, namely Khoi Dao (VA of Albedo), Laura Stahl (VA of Barbara and Xinyan), Sean Chiplock (VA of Diluc), and Cory Yee (VA of Gorou). We also have Vanille Velasquez, who voices Neon in Valorant.

If you think Wave 2 is awesome, it gets bigger with Wave 3!

Wave 3 

CONQuest has finally released their last wave of guests and it’s even bigger than the previous one. 

We have more content creators such as Pokimane, Shoto, JoeyTheAnimeMan, and Aki Dearest. 

They also added more voice actors. Anne Yatco and Ratana are back for CONQuest 2023, while Adam McArthur (VA of Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen) is also coming here in the Philippines.

Lineup for All Days

Indeed, CONQuest Festival 2023’s lineup is bigger, better, and stacked! There will be no dull days as everyone will have the chance to meet their favorite streamers, content creators, creative artists, and voice actors.
